Welcome to Blossie
Inspired by the Rhythm of the Garden
Blossie grew slowly, just like the flowers themselves.
Spending time in the garden naturally forces you to slow down. To work at nature’s pace, to realise you’re a small part of something much bigger, and to start noticing beauty in the everyday.
What began as a quiet curiosity about growing a few beautiful stems became something deeper. A love of seasonality, texture and colour. A fascination with watching something grow from seed to bloom.
Over time, the garden became more than just a place to grow flowers. It became a place of calm and clarity. A steady counterbalance to a busy, demanding world. Somewhere things felt more considered, more intentional.
From Garden to Bouquet
As my garden grew, so did the urge to share what it gave me.
There is something quietly joyful about giving flowers, knowing they will mark a moment. A thank you. A celebration. A simple act of kindness.
I started small, selling posy jars at an honesty stand at the end of my drive, or, as my husband calls them, “jars of joy”. It was never about building a business at first. It was about making people smile.
Blossie is shaped by that feeling.
Each arrangement is inspired by how flowers grow in the garden. Relaxed, abundant and a little imperfect. I’m drawn to soft palettes, movement, layered textures and blooms that feel alive and whimsical. My work is guided by the seasons, by what’s flourishing, and by what feels right in the moment.
Slower Way of Working
I create flowers slowly and intentionally.
Designs are never rushed or replicated. Each bouquet or arrangement is led by the stems available that week, the mood they create together, and the story they want to tell. Sometimes that means abundance, sometimes restraint, but always with a whimsical and cottage-style beauty.
Our flowers are grown here in Somerset, organically, intentionally and slowly and when we are not able to grow what we need, florals are sourced with care, prioritising high quality and seasonal blooms wherever possible.
Why Blossie Exists
Blossie Florals exists to celebrate the everyday beauty of flowers. Not just for grand occasions, but for ordinary moments made special.
To bring a little of the garden’s calm into homes. To let nature guide the process rather than trends. And to honour the simple joy of giving flowers.
If you’ve ever felt grounded by being outdoors, comforted by growing something with your hands, or quietly lifted by receiving flowers “just because”, you’ll understand the heart of Blossie.
A Little About Me
I live in Brent Knoll, Somerset with my husband, our dog, and a small flock of runner ducks who provide both entertainment and marginally efficient pest control (they are also fond of the taste of Dahlias…the less said about that, the better!)
Alongside Blossie, I work in the corporate world in a fast-paced, high-responsibility role anchored to healthcare. After being made redundant in 2025, I found myself leaning more intentionally into the garden and flowering. Building a Flower Studio in an old unused outbuilding at home. Blossie has become the perfect creative outlet.
Today, Blossie sits comfortably alongside corporate life. It offers a space for creativity, craft and focus, and a way to work with my hands as well as my head. It’s a balance that feels considered, energising and sustainable – and one that allows both worlds to thrive.
Thank you so much for being here, for supporting this little dream of mine. I cant wait to create something beautiful for you
